As you can already read in our article on car hire in Seville, hiring a car directly from the airport has its pros (especially if you’ll be starting your Andalusia itinerary from here) but also some cons: in short, while it can be very convenient to rely on the various car hire agencies located at the airport itself, it can be difficult to get around in the city by car and to find parking.
Public transport from Seville Airport to the city centre
Anyway, given the short distance between the airport facilities and the city centre, you might decide to make use of public transport: there is a special line that in about 35 minutes connects the airport to Plaza de Armas in the centre, a fifteen-minute walk from the Cathedral and the Alcazar. The bus is called EA, costs €4 and stops right outside the airport exit, also making several intermediate stops, useful if your hotel is a little outside the casco antiguo.
If, instead, you want to use a taxi, you’ll pay an amount between €20 and €30, varying depending on the time of year, the time of day, the number of passengers, the weight of luggage… and the taxi driver’s mood! At this address you’ll find the exact fares.
Finally, one last option is to rely on transport from the airport to the hotel (and vice versa) with private vehicle or shared shuttle: it is by far the most comfortable option and you can often find attractive fares.

Flight + hotel in Seville? Is it worth it?
Recently I’ve started looking into the purchase option flight+hotel, offered by numerous online services: I’ve noticed that, under certain conditions, it’s possible to find considerable savings on the overall price.
Bear in mind, however, that the flight+hotel to Seville booking option only applies if the departure and arrival airports in your itinerary are the same. For example: if you depart from London and land in Seville, and your return flight leaves Seville and lands in London, you can use this useful option. If not (for example, with a return flight from Malaga), you will not be able to.
